I did order the iTouch 8 gb almost a month ago and tonight my husband finally transferred my existing stash of music on an original Classic ipod and almost used up all the memory on the iTouch. It’s cute and I am now going to order the largest size because without it I will never be able to use email or any of the other cute gizmos offered.
This is for a very light user of anything iPod. If you aren’t wedded to Apple look at Zoon for a much better deal.
And do note that Mr. Jobs still refuses to add a telephone to this iTouch leaving you in a situation where he would like you to buy two of his expensive products rather than one. The games Apple plays really come from the Marketing Department in Hell. Customers do not count: their cash register is all that matters.

I’ve had this phone for a few months now and I’m so not impressed. To pay this much for a phone and then not be able to send a picture message is crazy!! I didnt return it because the guys at the apple store assured me that apple listens and trys to correct things that the consumer wants, and that in june there would be an update that most likely would include sending pictures. Well on the apple site nowhere does it mention anything about picture text in the new update. This phone has other cool things but seriously I just want to send and receive picture text messages not emails. Why pay so much for this phone when you could get a cheaper one that does the same if not more?

this is the most horrible phone on the market. I had it for 2 days. its slick, aerodynamic design makes it slide out of your hand and because there are no buttons you do not know what number you press. so texting and emialing is an agony. it can assure you miss type (also, it opens each mail intstead of deleting when you command) and u will keep charging it every two days. after all this bs and the hype about this phone u still have to register to an wi-fi network. so you will not get it ready to roll immediately.
at least the Google phone also has a “mouse”, keypad (so u do not guess), easier to hold, and shows webpages as they are on you PC. plus a little cheaper too and has faster internet access. its camera just as fantastic.
