Seriously, Ipod sucks. Zune is a way better buy and more GB I got my Zune for $199.00 with 30GB. Apple’s mp3 player with 30GB is nearly $400. And zune Plays videos, music, and allows pictures. So cool.

I ordered an iPod Nano for use on a vacation I am leaving on tomorrow morning. I placed the order early on 4/2 with two day shipping expecting – as the message on the order page promised – that it would arrive on 4/4. The item I ordered with it was delivered on 4/3, so I expected no problems. However, when the item showed as shipped (not until 4/3) the expected delivery date was 4/8. I didn’t worry because my experience is that given that I live in NYC, these dates are almost always bettered. Well, it is now 4/7, 4 days after my order and the item, after a call to UPS and 2 to Amazon will not be delivered until tomorrow – afer I have left on my vacation! It turns out that the Nano was mistakenly shipped with UPS ground, so even though it could easily have been delivered on time, it won’t be. It was UPS who pointed this out to me (and it shows this clearly on the tracking page), not the Amazon customer service reps who said it was UPS’s fault. The reason I ordered this item from Amazon was my confidence that the item would be delivered on time. I have now unfortunately lost that confidence in Amazon. While my 2-day shipping fee was refunded, the use of the item is not. So, I must go buy a Nano at a store and return the Amazon one, further inconveniencing me with a trip to the post office. I am sure, once I get it I will enjoy the Nano. Unfortunately, it will suffer from Amazzon’s shipping snafu.

The iphone buyers who were ripped-off by the $200 price reduction each got a $100 check from Apple? Do I get one for the 2GB , non-video enabled Nano I paid $150 for 10 days ago?

I wanted to upgrade my 1st gen nano but when I saw this I really did not like the form factor. I’ve seen the local stores here and nobody’s buying it . Why because it is really UGLY, the more I look at it, the more I couldn’t bring myself to buy it. Not like the 2nd gens which sold really well. The added features like the video, I really don’t understand how you could watch videos on that tiny screen. Hopefully, this product wont sell enough so Apple would bring back the old form factor.
