The product is decent, but the hole to plug in the charger is not big enough. It would not insert properly to charge my iPhone 4. I had to shave it with scissors. It is better, and finally charges, but I would have preferred a perfect fit from the beginning. It is okay, it finally charges.

My Candyshell arrived in Speck retail packaging, however the screen protector film and cleaning cloth were not included. No big deal since the UPDATED Speck products do not include them either. I have a Zagg screen shield in place, and so far no issues with the candyshell. The fit is tight, and spot on with all mic and port access. The feel of the case with the iphone in it is solid, and yes it’s a tight fit so no worries about the iphone slipping out of the case. I decided to go with the Speck Candyshell due to lots of good reviews on other sites about the previous candyshells. A colleague has one on her iphone 3G, and has protected her phone from several beatings. The hard plastic exterior is smooth enough to slip easily in- and- out of pocket. The grip is not as slippery as I thought it would be for such a glossy finish. I believe this is the updated version of the candyshell since I haven’t had any flash issues with photos. This is a great case to protect your iphone 4. Probably the best case out if your looking for a sleek feel. Only downside of it is that it didn’t come with the screen protector as promised. Thats false advertising making the person think they were getting a really good deal and turns out its just the case. Amazon either needs to fix that or ship screen shields with it.

This is a beautiful cover for your iPhone 4, but if you own potable speakers or a car charger, you’ll have to take the case off to dock. This has two downsides: First, you have to put up taking this VERY tight cover off every time you want to listen to music on your speakers or while you travel. Second, you will risk scratching or dropping your phone everytime you try to take the cover off.
