This case is great! Rubber inside to protect the phone and it doesn’t scratch it. The outside is a smooth plastic that doesn’t get stuck in your pocket. The case fits snuggly and the phone doesn’t move around inside of it. It takes two hands to remove the case. I bought this case the same day I got my new iPhone 3GS. I have recommended it to everyone I know who has an iPhone or that has an iPhone with a case they don’t really like. Buy this case!! You won’t be disappointed.

I bought this for my iPhone 3GS. Fits in very snugly and has a very good feel to it. Not very rough or smooth making handling feel very nice.
Highly recommended. Only downside is that its not yet available in better color combinations as compared to the shells for the iPods.

I originally had an iFrogz Luxe case, but the connecter piece snapped and it wouldn’t stay on. Tried replacing that with a SwitchEasy Rebel, but that case was hard and slippery – not suited for an accessory that’s supposed to decrease the risk of damage! This Speck case is easily the best of the three, and the best iPhone case I’ve seen yet – it fits snugly, is smooth but not slippery, great looking, and appears to be extremely durable and well built. The only caveats are that it adds slightly more bulk than the iFrogz case, and the mute switch is a bit harder to activate due to the increased case thickness. I’ll happily take those tradeoffs, though. Finally, the packaging was excellent – it’s actually held together with metal snaps! Great product, I’ll look to Speck first next time.

I owned the first gen of the candy-shell and the corners tore and the thin part at the bottom broke but this case is softer and Easier to remove the phone much better design
