tried to order 175 to be handed out to our company as part of our company-wide upgrade to the new iPhones but the order was cancelled without any notice. Maybe the morale is order no more than 1 or 2 at a time.

At first glance I loved this case. It has a smooth, velvet rubber feel to it and it fits well. Then I took a few pictures with flash and I started to hate it. The case’s opening for the camera flash is too small. When you take a flash picture, it creates a haze, because of how the light relects off the side edges and your pictures are worthless. I bought a thin plastic case with a larger opening and it fixed the problem completely. This case feels better, but I want to able to use the flash, so I got rid of this case.

Nothing special with this product. I don’t mean that negatively, but it’s just a rubber case for the phone. Not much too it. The fit could be a little tighter IMO, but as it is now it works like it should. One bonus is that the soft material allows non-Apple earphones and dock connectors to plug right in unlike the Bumper sold by Apple.

This is a darn good piece regardless of the price. For the price though, it is a super-value. I bought a $10 case that cost $4 to ship (third party seller on Amazon). For a $1 less than shipping (I am prime but you can get to $25 it should ship free) for the entire case and shipping I received a much better case than the first one.
I know many people are looking for a hold-over case until the ones ship direct from Apple. Look no more. This is great for that purpose, or as your go to case, or as a back up. Fist the rubber is very nice to handle. Maybe not at first but SOOOO much more comfortable than the sleek metallic slippery sides of an un-covered Iphone 4. Second all of the controls are easy to access with ethier cut-outs or the cover over the buttons protecting them but also leaving them still easy to use.
I haven’t dropped the phone to try but the case feels like it would give much better than average protection and my wife has no problem leaving it in her purse after she put on a screen protector. The case looks good and of course adds some bulk but not any wasted bulk at all. The bulk is there for protection and to handle the phone better. And it seems to solve the death grip issue completely. Lastly the cut-out around the flash is big enough that it does not give problems. You could easily spend 5 to 7 times as much and do no better. GREAT buy, highly recommended. The only problem with the case? My wife will not swap cases with me.
