I ordered the Trent IMP 130. My card was charged and an email sent saying the product had shipped (all within about 1 hr.) Later that day, I received and e-mail stating that they had shipped the wrong item, but what they shipped was actually better than what I had ordered. When I contacted them and told them I wanted the IMP130, they said that there was only one vendor that handled that one, and they couldn’t supply it, but what they sent was actually a better battery case. I refused the shipment and contacted Amazon.com The seller did credit my card immediately, but I was really put off by Amazon’s total unconcern of what all had transpired. I will NEVER trust this seller, and it is questionable if I can trust Amazon.com after this. Caveat Emptor!

Purchased this hoping that it would work as advertised. If there’s one born every second as PT Barnum used to say it was me when I purchased this piece of junk. I don’t know where to start. It has an on off switch that does not appear to be related to the funtioning of the object, What? yes you can turn it on and nothing happens you can turn it off and nothing happens. It’s a roll of the dice as to whether it will work. I was TWICE as stupid as I bought two of them one for me and one for the SO, both work exactly the same, THEY DON”T. My wife had hers plugged in last night and woke up to “battery warning 20%” this after being plugged in all night. Arggh. It does not work as advertised, the on off switch is useless and sometimes it cycles between on and off once a second making that annoying ding, or buzz every second as it cycles between off-on-recharge-full-empty-off

I am going to keep this short and sweet: This case/charger is THE WAY TO GO if your in the market for one of these battery pack chargers. The fit of the case(seamless, no unnecessary gaps between the chrome and lining of the case), the nice matte grip it provides, the quality of the battery and the problem-free charging when desired with the on/off switch on the bottom.. Make this thing nearly perfect. If you decide that you don’t want the phone to charge or you may be a little skeptical and think using it while charging it will give you reception issues? Then just flick the off switch and leave it there until you have some downtime and before you throw it into your pocket, just switch it on. However, I have been using this case with it powered on and used my iPhone for EVERYTHING, including phone calls and I have suffered absolutely no reception issues at all. It just drains the cases power first, automatically switches itself off when the case is out of power, and starts draining power from the iPhone. If your an iPhone power-user as am I, and value a protective case on your iPhone at all times, buy this.. I do have a few issues which would make this case perfect tho:
1) Provide a lip around the screen, no matter how small so that customers will have that sense of security knowing that if they drop they’re iPhone face-first on a flat surface the lip will protect the screen.
2) Offer more battery capacities with full-case protection, not the open-top that is so prevalent amongst these kind of chargers. I understand the more capacity a battery has the bigger it will be, but why stop offering the full case protection for the bigger batteries?
In my opinion, if ImaxPower did these 2 things they would offer *perfect* case charging accessories for the power-users out there.
PS- The price is unbeatable also!…

Overall its, not bad. Fits in my pocket but notice it getting warm while charging and a couple drop calls. I have 3G and gives me about 2/3 additional life but it might be my imagination but the charge doesn’t hold up compared to a traditional charger. Fit and feel is good but I notice some peeling on the corners already. But it does give you additional life when you’re out all day. For the price you cant loose.
Update: Great service, they offered to send me replacement no charge and was told to keep the old one for my inconvenience and got it in a few days. Service is top notch.

I have been using IMP130 for few weeks now and I am loving it. I am always on a move and needed an extra battery power so I choose IMP130. It’s a nice fit for my iphone and really powerful to last more than a day even when I use you-tube/face-book and of course the phone. The on/off button is really helpful as I use this battery as a backup and can use it when it is really required. So all-in-all a great battery…
