This product perfectly charges iphone 4 and allows audio play with your car’s aux-in.
My set up goes like this: I’m streaming Pandora via AT&T 3G from my iPhone 4, which is plugged into a “2-in-1 Aux Audio Sync Cable” which splits into a USB out which is plugged into a “USB car charger”, and the other split is a “3.5mm line out” which is plugged into the “Ground Loop Isolator” which is plugged into my Toyota Camry Hybrid’s aux-in port.
Without the Ground Loop Isolator, there is a discernible, audible whitenoise hum/buzz. The isolator 100% eliminates all traces of this, leaving just pure and clear audio to stream through.

For those of you who like me purchased some OTHER cables on Amazon that ended up not being compatible with the newer Apple products, I wanted to let you know that this one does indeed work. Not only that, the length of the cable is great, AND has the USB connection as well. The construction of the cable seems to be quite good, and doesn’t feel cheap like some of the others I’ve tested. Will post again once I can more fully evaluate the audio quality.

I originally had a similar version of this cable when I got the BMW IPOD kit included in my new car, and after 3 months my son losss, my cable because he would always transfer cable from car to car, I called BMW parts to order another cable and they wanted to charge my $85 for that part, so I did my research to find another part similar and came up with this cable an it works just as good or even better then my other cable at fraction of the cost. I have still able to sync music from my Ipad to my hard drive on my BMW navigation system. I brought two of them for each car and don’t have to worry about moving cables from car to car. I would recommend to product to everyone

This cable really is amazing. I have a Griffen PowerJolt that I plug the USB end into. It is perfect for listening and charging while in the car. It does definitely seem to be of higher quality than some of the iPhone accessories. The only issue I ran into was that I had to grind the plastic down a little to fit into the dock opening on my bumper case for my iPhone 4, but that is the fault of Apple! If you are using any iPhone or iPod without a case, you shouldn’t run into this issue (or any case aside from the bumper for that matter). Awesome product!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I made it a point to write one for this cable. I was skeptical at first but the cable actually WORKS on the iPhone too!! Charging and playing the music using the same cable is amazing. It was always a pain to remove the aux cable to pick up a call, but not anymore. Great product, good quality too. Highly recommend it!! Couple it with the Belkin micro car charger, and you’re golden!
