It’s not a bose. But I didn’t expect that. It’s a great product for the price.

I tested this speaker with a “vintage” 4G iPod. I had to try out a couple of the provided adapter inserts before I found a suitable docking fit.

This little speaker set has great styling and performs well in a small room or apartment. Contrary to some other reviews, it does have pretty good bass response at lower volume levels; if you crank it up, though, it does not sound as good.

It is curious that Logitech chose to not include the ability to play tunes from the iPod as an alternative to the beeping alarm. If they had, I would have given this speaker box 5 stars. The remote is tiny and seems like it would be really easy to lose, and it’s functions are fairly limited.

    Pros:

    -Good styling

    -Compact

-Decent sound at lower volume levels

    Cons:

    -No iPod alarm feature

    -Limited remote functions

I wanted to give a heads-up on this unit that the batteries are just a backup in case of a power outage. When they say the batteries allow you to take it from room-to-room, that is about all the battery life you get. I have some standards for anything that advertises battery operation; I think that one AA battery should be able to power the clock for a couple of weeks. I don’t know how long fresh batteries will last while playing music, but I have put in a fresh set on two different occasions and they have run out in 48 hours while only the clock was on. I think that that if the clock will drain six AA batteries in 48 hours, that is a major design flaw. I would only purchase this for operation on AC.

Controls aren’t sturdy. Feel cheap. But I think the sound is good for the price

Sounds good, pretty compact, clock is easily visible. Came with a adapter plate for my 4th gen Ipod nano. Comes installed with a adapter plate which must be removed 1st if installing a different one. Will recharge your Ipod only if its plugged in and not on battery power. Logitech always makes great products. Very pleased.
