   This is a great product for any Ipod. I bought it reading everyone’s review and its not all what people say it is and isn’t. I guess it depends on what kind of USB drive you have, what kind of computer you have, and a lot of variables involved.

   I have a Millenium Edition Gateway Desktop (so its kinda old), the 1st generation Ipod Nano, and I have not had any problems with this product.

   I bought my girlfriend the new Ipod nano that plays videos and the first try with this product didn’t go all that fast, didn’t read it for a few seconds, and just weird things happened. The second time we tried it, it work alright to a reasonable rate and does pretty much what it says it will do. But from then on we used my GF’s new cord that came with her ipod.

   Pros: Great product, i take it everywhere, good enough length, and a great replacement for a broken or lost cord.

   Cons: Bad length if you wanna wrap it from the back of your computer through all the other wirings, around the monitor, past the speakers, etc… its only about 2 feet. AND, like i said, it only works right depending on the situation your computer or laptop is in. New computer + not a lot of programs + great processor = great fast product. Old computer + lots of programs + old or slow processor = slow product.

   Last but not least, with all Amazon or other products, some companies have a very small percentage of bad products so if you get one… send it back for another one and try again.

   good idea, but the cord will not lock in place when pulled out like it is supposed to also shipping is slow. Shipping cost more than the item itself and not worth it as it doesnt function as it is supposed to.

   You can’t beat this for the price, it works perfectly fine, but can get stuck a little bit sometimes.

   If you have an iPhone and have USB ports in multiple places like home, work, your car, etc, then just get a bunch of these, and you’ll never need to worry about carrying a charger… I’m buying this for my iPod Touch, but my phone has a mini-USB port (a very cheap, generic part) and I’m incredibly happy with my decision to buy about five mini-USB-to-USB cables and station them everywhere I might potentially need one. It’s great for peace of mind, and I’d suggest it as a strategy to any smartphone user.

   For this particular part: I got this back in July to replace the ratty old cable that had come with my iPod originally. It’s superior in basically every way. I don’t have much else to say than that. This is a cable priced cheaply, but it works 100% fine, and the spooling action is great for travel. I’ve had no problems in the half-year since I bought mine, and I’m actually here to buy another one so that I can keep one at home and keep one in my laptop bag.
