I have to accept that I didn’t read spec carefully. But I don’t understand the reason that they don’t provide a dock for classic 160g. I don’t think it’s too thick to provide a dock. I took for granted that all classic is supported including my ipod.

First off, due to the location of the plug in the car; the RoadTrip simply can not hold the iPhone vertically. Second, it can not automatically find an empty station as advertised. Thirdly, even when an empty station is selected manually; it does not work – usually all I got was static. Maybe I got a defective unit. I returned it to Amazon for a refund, which is a really cool feature of buying on Amazon.

This product does not work well in the state of Iowa and ANTOline will not take it back because they obviously don’t take ANY returns. There is nothing wrong with the packaging and this product might work for someone else-somewhere else so they could resell it but they are a company we will never deal with again. It has also given us a very bad taste of Amazon.

This was a Christmas present that has gone horridly bad!!

Sorry for the two stars. I do like and use the RoadTrip as a charging stand in my car but the performance of the FM transmitter is so poor that I have taken to plugging my cassette tape adapter into the speaker jack instead. There are three FM presets. I can’t find three frequencies that will get me through my 30 minute commute. For a lot less money and a little bit more effort each day I could have gotten a suction cup to hold the iPhone where I can see it.

Perhaps this device would work well in a more rural setting but I can not recommend it to others.

This thing is ok but I wouldn’t call it great by any means. It does what it says it will do but you still will get interference at times. I have tried using the automatic station selector and it picked the worst station possible and you couldn’t even use it on that station. I found out that it is better to use a lower channel on the radio dial. If this is your only choice than it’s the best way to go but nothing is better than a direct wire to your system.
