Although it will charge an iPhone 3G, the signal to the radio is not clear. I can barely hear the audio of the recording. I have a 06 Jeep grand Cherokee with the Nav radio. I mostly here static. Not worth the money!!!!!!!!!!!!

Decent product, but I returned it because of the poor audio quality. There was so much static on every station that it was just not a usable product in my opinion. Everyone that says this is a good product must have extremely low audio quality standards. It is like listening to an AM station with a lot of static on it. The auto channel find feature doesn’t always find the best station either. It just isn’t worth the money, buy something else.

It is a crime to charge this much for this product. The reception is awful, the smart scan doesn’t help in finding any better stations. Do not buy this.

Not sure if it was just my unit but I have a Honda CRV and the signal is horrible…lots of static. Tried a ton of stations that I know are open with my previous units but still no success. Tried the “SmartScan” and it kept choosing known stations with strong signals already on them in my area. I would choose another product if you have the choice.

Horrible static on every channel when using with an Iphone 3G. Also get the message “this product is not compatible with iphone” when plugging it in, despite the packaging indicating it is iphone compatible. I had to manipulate the phone and actually place it on top of the car interior roof wedged in the visor to get some reception. Tried to use it with a video ipod, with the same result. Other cheaper options on Amazon are much better. I highly do NOT recommend!!
