this dock causes my ipod Touch to pause! The speaker stays on, but my ipod goes into a pause, then I have to hit play and the speaker takes a minute to play the sound again! Gogroove company Accessory Power says they have never heard of this problem! I am returning mine after trying 2 separate ones! And I saw another reviewer complained that the speaker turns off so this is a common problem! Don’t buy for the ipod Touch!

I bought the MOVE speakers mainly to use while taking a shower. Everytime I use them the unit pauses. Since I’m in the shower I can’t get out to start the music again. Darn. Otherwise I like the speakers. They sound fine and it charges my unit.

I was attracted to this product because it can act as a landscape-mode night-table charging stand for the iphone 3GS. The iphone can display a larger clock display in this orientation, and the speakers enhance the white-noise I generate to block noise when I sleep.
Unfortunately, although it adapts to all iphone and ipod models, it cannot accept an iphone which uses a protective case.
I think that this is a huge oversight, I have seen many people using iphones and have yet to see one without a protective case. I am not prepared to remove the case each night, and then fiddle around with replacing it again in the morning ( before my coffee! )
If someone is in the market for iphone accessories such as this stand, the first thing that they usually buy is a protective case.
If I had realized this shortcoming, I would not have bought this product. As it is I have been able to modify it with my Dremel to accept the larger size – but it was a lot of work which I would have preferred to avoid by choosing a different model.

How some users rated this plastic thingy 5 stars or even 4 stars is really way beyond me. I was eager to receive this iPod speaker only to open the box and immediately realize how cheaply it is made. Once I connected it, my suspicions were confirmed and the sound was reminiscent of the old cheap transistor battery-operated radios from my childhood of the 1970s. Thank goodness I did not buy more because I had plan on giving it as a gift. The sound is simply poor and offensive to the ears. It states that it sounds like 4 speakers, well it sounded like one speaker on a cheap radio. The description of the product makes it appear as if this system is a mega sound system with great quality, but it’s not and it’s very disappointing. If you’re looking for a cheap transistor radio reminiscent of the 1970s with cheaply made parts, then this product is for you. If you’re looking for good quality, go with the iHomes or Bose. This thing is not worth it, plus they just raised their price up to $10.00. Definitely returning this asap.

I love this little thing. I bought it as a gift for my boyfriend and we use it all the time. It is extremely mobile and easy to use. I have also discovered that it is rather durable as I have knocked it over a couple times and it is just fine. Sound quality is good and the ability to switch from battery to plugging it in is great. Its a good size–about 2 inches thick. Overall, very happy with this little, portable speaker!
