Good product. Fits my Ipod gen 5 very well. Holds position in my lighter well & stays out of the way of the shifter. Doesn’t move around too much.

This transmitter was purchased for my daughter to use in her car. It was exactly what she needed to not only transmit music from her ipod, but to charge her ipod while playing music in her car. It was exactly as shown on the web site.

OK..I finally got an Ipod Touch (after the nano was stolen) and purchased a $80 NAME BRAND Accessory kit from and a ‘warehouse club’–it was a piece of junk..it didn’t pick up any stations and was constantly stat-icy. After retuning it I saw this one and took a chance. This works sooooo much better…100% better… it picks up the stations very well have not had any problems with static and is very easy to use…
As I said this was a good product for the price. There are a few flaws..
1) there doesn’t seem to be a memory feature that lets you program preset stations into it. Some of these devices will let you bank 3-4 stations so you can switch easily. So far I have to manually do it.
2) there’s no ‘off’, if you have a car like mine the DC plug will continue to supply a charge after the car is turned off so the unit stays on. Now if the unit is plugged in and on a few things happen
a) it runs the battery, and can possibly drain it.
b) I’ve heard of units overheating and causing a fire (don’t quote me on it).
c) it leaves it on so the unit will glow blue when your not in the car. If you park in a questionable area it’ll draw attention to your car. so be careful. THIS ACTUALLY WORKS TO MY BENEFIT, IT FORCES MY TO UNPLUG AND TAKE MY IPOD WITH ME WHEN LEAVING THE CAR.
It is a great accessory to my Ipod. It works when and how I want it to. I had to adjust a few of my habits but I’ll live.

This iPod dock is a really long piece of equipment, which makes it hard to stash. It barely fits in my glove box and my purse is out of the question. That said, it mounts well and doesn’t have the same structural flaws as the one I broke. It also has a nice sound quality.

Since I do not have an AUX output on my radio, I needed a way to play my iPod Touch 1GEN in my car. Music is my life, so good tunes is a necessity. Like someone else said, I was a little weary about this product being an ‘off brand’ and never seeing one before.
This item arrived the day of our 3-hour trip to Pittsburgh too. The entire trip, preformed wonderfully!! Not much feedback heard and we usually keep it on 88.5 or 88.9. Through and through, no problems to and from our destinations with this device.
I have a clear case on the Touch and the iPod fits SNUGLY into the holder.
I agree, the unit is a tad heavy. I too worry about damage to the cigarette lighter adapter in the future. We shall see. However, I like where the item positions the Touch for use in proximity to the radio. Great item and I’d recommend to others.
