I read they’d changed the product so it would not stick to the iPhone. Well as of 7/22/09 they stick very badly. And it’s too small; the iPhone itself barely fits in, with a case it doesn’t fit at all.

But, as a previous reviewer points out, if you blow on it and shake it you can get it in and you will be able to get it back out. It should not be this hard to use it, but it can be made to work. I’d change my one star to three but I don’t seem to be able to. And I’d be tempted to get a larger version that’s less effort and would accept the iPhone with a case on it.

Recently bought the Aquapac to use for my iphone when I go camping and boating. Haven’t tested yet for waterproofness yet, but figured out an easy way to get it into the case. All you gotta do is 1) get a piece of paper (or use the stiff packing sheet it came with), 2) cut slightly narrower to fit in the case and slightly longer than the case, 3) slip the paper into the case, 4) insert the iphone making sure the paper is covering the clear side of the case so phone is between paper and opaque side of case, and 5)pull out the paper. Had no problem getting my iphone with Otter impact case too!

I bought this for my vacation to Hawaii and it was great to have. I was able to put my iPhone in it and not be worried about leaving it on the beach and getting stolen and it is also functional inside the case too. I had it in the ocean many times and had no problems with it. I did end up with a very small amount of water inside the case when opening it and it was difficult to get it dry and when a little sand got inside it was very difficult to get out also but it really was a great convenience and worked really well.

Other reviewers have said that their iPhone didn’t fit well. That is probably because they have a third-party protective case on their iPhone that is too thick or made of rubber. I personally use the Scosche kickBACK S Hybrid case for my iPhone 3Gs, and it fits pretty well. The rubber does increase the friction a bit but never to the point where I thought it was going to damage this waterproof pouch. If yours doesn’t fit, take it out of the protective case first. I had enough room for that, my drivers license, a credit card, and the registration for my kayak.

I like the double clasp at the top of the bag. It gives a nice tight seal and feels quite solid. The touch screen works great through the cover and the lash cord is nice and long. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who does any type of recreational water sport but can’t afford to leave their phone in the car.

This is for all the people that say it’s hard to put the phone inside the aquapac. Yes it is very difficult but if you apply a small amount of baby powder on the phone front and back it will slide right in and not grip the sides like it does without.
