I purchased this at a brick & mortar store for about $25. The packaging specified that it would fit 30gb and 80 gb iPod video models. When you open the package, there are indeed two back pieces for the case, one deeper than the other. There are no instructions but it was fairly obvious that the deeper was for the 80gb & that the cover simply snaps into place.
The problem is that the 30gb iPod I have doesn’t fit the smaller case. The cover literally won’t even touch the back, much less snap to it. The only option was to use the 80gb case, which closes but leaves the iPod clanking around loose inside due to the extra space (and the openings for the headphones, dock, etc., don’t line up as well as they should).
This case is very attractive, but it is sad that a major manufacturer can’t even properly measure the product they claim compatibility with.

GREAT PRODUCT MUST BUY!!! Only thing was that NO it does to fit in a dock with the case on, but you just have to take the case off which is very easy to do!!

I like this case. It adds a little weight and size to it, but that’s expected of a good sturdy case. I like that the screen is covered.. that’s definitely a plus. I also like how the click wheel is covered. There is only a very slight difference in its sensitivity. It’s nothing that will effect your use of the product. I would rather have that little difference if it means protection for my ipod. For the price, this item is a great catch in my opinion. Fast and efficient delivery by seller. : )

Entre los tantos productos que podemos encontrar para el Ipod, esta carcasa sin duda esta hecha a la medida. Encaja perfectamente, manteniendo mi Ipod seguro y sin rallas. Tiene un diseño elegante que le da una distinción a mi ipod. Muy buen producto, lo recomiendo ampliamente

This product does exactly what it’s supposed to – it protects the screen from scratches. It’s light-weight and cool-looking. Not only does it protect the screen- but it protects the touch-wheel, too.
Great for the price.
My only qualm is that I have to take it out of the case to dock it on my inMotion stereo. But other than that- Great!
