This product arrived a day late and the package had been opened (through the Amazon shipping label) and resealed with clear tape. The product did not work and I did not return it as the return postage would have been 1/2 the refund.

I bought a couple of those adapters that plug into your cigarette lighter and are supposed to play thru your radio and they never worked. I only ever got static. THIS though works like a charm.
It’s fantastic. Plug it in to your i Pod, pop it into your tape player and you have music! Excellent. If you don’t have a tape player in your vehicle it would be worth it to buy an inexpensive one in order to have access to your i Pod music. That’s my 2 cents.

This product is good for its price. You can stick it into the tape deck to play anything that uses a 3.5 mm jack. However, the problem is that you hear this hissing sound when you use this. Tried on several cars with the same result. You might want to spring for a FM transmitter instead if you want a better sound.

I’ve read some reviews before I bought this, and many people said that it eventually starts skipping, didn’t think this would happen to me, but it did. Just recently. I bought this June 19 08, so it took only 5 months for this to happen. It changes sides 2 or 3 times, then the cassette gets ejected. Don’t buy this. Unless you don’t care about paying $8 every 5 months for a cassette adapter.

Bought this to play tunes from my iPhone 3G in my car. Works as advertised and sound quality was OK, but the unit rattles and crackles in the tape player so much and so loudly that I just couldn’t stand it. Very distracting – completely overshadowed the otherwise acceptable performance of the unit.
I’m taking this thing back and looking for a more solidly built unit to do the job.
